Airline complaints and sue the airlines- complaints and solutions

The fare of the airlines these day have reduce to a certain extent, and due to this many have started preferring flight for travelling, as a result of this demand for air travel is increasing and many private and public companies are entering into these fields with their own scheme and plans, attracting customers with their low rates and other advantages for making their holiday a memorable one.

The competition is becoming all the more tough as different airlines are striving hard to attract more and more people to fly with them. In their endeavor to attract more and more customers, many airlines are not taking their services very seriously and as a result the standard of basic services is also deteriorating. While competing with other airline companies, they are missing out the most important thing that is, aviation industry is a part of the service sector with a motto to serve the customers which these days appears to be left somewhere behind.

Passengers now days are really facing a lot of challenges while flying. They have to face issues like baggage mishandling, loss of baggage, being served pathetic food and charging exorbitantly for the same, face misbehavior from the airline staff and crew members, and the list goes on and on. The passenger has no other option except lodging airline complaint. This is not easy for the customers as well, this results in lot of mental stress, tension, etc for the passengers. At times they also reach their limits and lose patience. This make them even go to the extent that a decision to sue the airlines needs to be taken. People pay a bomb to fly with a particular airline and in return they expect a decent service besides an assurance to have a safe journey. When these very basic demands are also not met, they tend to lose their temper and airline complaints follow.

When they lodge airline complaints they need a proper action to be taken on the same. If the airline personnel show no empathy or an inclination to get the issue resolved, they have to take extreme course of action, that is, sue the airlines.

The common airline complaints which the passengers often face are being served with stale or contaminated food, misplacing or no proper handling of luggage, baggages getting exchanged with others, ignoring customers requests for some information, delay of flights without prior information, all these issues leads to airline complaints which may be major or minor, but necessitating a firm action on them. There must be proper customer care cell where one can share their issues with authorized airline personnel. The airline authorities in their turn must investigate the issue immediately and solve the problem on the spot. If these solutions are not taken care of immediately, they may escalate and becomes uncontainable. Fast redressel of issues is necessary so that it may not lead to strict actions like sue the airline. In case one decides to take this decision, he would need the services of an experienced and able lawyer.
